We are delighted with the success of our July Learning Lenses workshops.  18 Jewish day school educators from 7 states participated in the in-depth 4-day Learning Lenses course, which took place July 16-19 at the Churchill School and Center in New York City.  Teachers traveled a long way to attend the course from Hollywood and Miami, FL, Chicago, IL, Baltimore, MD, Charlotte, NC, Nashville, TN, and Metairie, LA,.  Five will be participating as Internal Coaches in our new "small city initiative".  As part of this exciting initiative, they will receive monthly, one-on-one "distance mentoring" from a member of the Hidden Sparks professional team and they will particpate in monthly Hidden Sparks coach meetings with one another via video-conferencing. We are grateful to The Covenant Foundation for providing funding for this initiative.

On July 24 we offered a one-day  of the curriculum for teachers in the New York metropolitan area.  42 educators from 22 schools received an introduction to the four learning lenses from the stellar Hidden Sparks educational leadership team.  Many expressed interest in participating in the in-depth four-day course and all left with valuable insights and ideas for their classrooms. A special thank you goes to Magen David Yeshivah High School for generously allowing us to hold our workshop at their school!

We are grateful to The Covenant Foundation for providing funding for this initiative and to RAVSAK for helping the schools find out about this opportunity.
