Hidden Sparks Without Walls is a distance-learning vehicle aimed at increasing professional development opportunities available to Jewish day school/yeshiva teachers. A wide selection of courses on student learning and behavior are offered via conference call and presentations.
How it works
• Participants dial a specified number and are admitted to the “class.”
• All participants can follow presentations by inserting course code on any internet ready computer.
• Participants without internet access can follow the phone call using a pre-faxed hard copy of the PowerPoint presentation.
• Class size is limited to ensure maximal interactivity.

The Hidden Sparks – Hebrew College Diverse Learners CoP
From September 2006 to June 2009 the PEJE Diverse Learners CoP, supported by Hidden Sparks, brought together administrators, special educators and teachers for regularly scheduled conference calls and online discussions in an effort to improve practice in educating diverse learners in Jewish day school settings.
As of September 2009, the Diverse Learners CoP will become a collaborative effort between Hidden Sparks and Hebrew College, Newton, Massachusetts.
