Summer Learning Summit for teachers.

Hidden Sparks is proud to announce a collaboration with Bank Street Education Center and the Center for Initiatives in Jewish Education to help you, your colleagues, and schools across the country prepare for a smooth and impactful return to school. Also, featuring an ed tech specialist to guide you through the summit!

How do we….

  • Cultivate community and student engagement in the age of Covid?
  • Develop engaging and meaningful in-class and virtual lessons?
  • Use inquiry, agency and choice to increase the quality of our instruction?

There is no time like now to position yourself for the fall by tapping into the expertise of renowned educators and collaborating with your peers as you apply best practices to lesson planning.

Summit Details

Registration is now open. We welcome all educators who work with students in grades K/Pre1A-8th in Jewish day schools and yeshivas, and encourage school teams to include classroom teachers, administrators and ed tech faculty*.

Dates & Times: The summit will run from 9:00am-12:30pm (ET) on July 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, & 29.

Tech Requirements: We will be utilizing the ZOOM platform. The summit will be interactive. For full participation, you will need a PC, laptop or iPad with a camera.

Fee: Thanks to generous grants from our funders, we are able to offer a subsidized fee of $75  for the full 6-day summit. We are not accepting partial attendance. NY State CTLEs: Interested participants are eligible receive 21 CTLE credits for this course. 

Please note that our discussion regarding virtual learning will presume that schools are using an online platform. We will not be discussing phone-only lessons.
