Meira Zharnest
Meira earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Academics from Stern College and went on to complete dual master’s degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education from Touro University. Since 2015, Meira has been a part of the Yavneh Academy community, where she has had the opportunity to work with students from kindergarten through seventh grade in a variety of settings. She has taught in the Learning Center, led her own Judaic Studies classroom as the head teacher, and currently serves as an inclusion teacher. During the summers, Meira continues to share her love of teaching by working with four-year-olds in camp. She is passionate about building strong connections with her students and creating a supportive, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and capable.
