23 Coaches Complete the 2015 ICP Course

March 2015 – On March 17th,  23 educators from 17 school completed their Internal Coach course. The six day course culminated with two intensive days that focused on coaching skills and workshop facilitation. The coaches will now transition into the shadowing portion of their training to be followed by mentoring and additional workshops next year.

I used to be lost as to what my student’s specific issue was, it was all one blur of not functioning  in the classroom and now I am able to pinpoint exactly where her struggle lies.” Mrs. B, Teacher, Prospect Park Yeshiva, Brooklyn

I used to think that consequences helped a lot but now I think that collaborative problem solving is way more affective.” Mrs. R, Teacher, Gan Yisroel, Brooklyn

I used to think that for some of my students I couldn’t figure out what the issues were- that’s the place for outside experts to help me, and now I think that there are reasons for their behaviors and I can come up with my own strategies to look deeper and to speak with them directly about what I am seeing.
