Getting Ready to Coach!

New Internal Coaches from 9 schools completed Day 6 of the six day Internal Coach Training Course on November 11, 2013.   While days 1-4 of the course cover the Learning Lenses curriculum, days 5 and 6 focus on the role of an Internal Coach. Day 6 began with External Coaches Dr. Tamar Bauman and Dr. Sara Reichman facilitating a session on the new Judaic Studies application of the curriculum. The rest of the day, led by Director of Education,  Elizabeth Fox and ICP Coordinaor, Esther Kramer, focused on workshop planning and facilitation skills. The new coaches will next have the opportunity to spend time shadowing an experienced coach before beginning coaching in their schools in January. To support them in their new role,  new Internal Coaches  receive monthly one-on-one mentoring from an experienced Hidden Sparks coach and participate in monthly group meetings.
